Since its inception in 1987, Biothermica has evolved from an environmental technology company to a fully integrated carbon project developer, managing all aspects of the development, financing and implementation of its carbon and energy projects.
Biothermica has completed transactions amounting to more than $US 100 million in turn-key projects in the fields of air pollution control and landfill gas recovery, more than $US 45 million as an equity sponsor with regard to landfill gas collection and power generation systems in Canada and in Central America, as well as more than $US 50 million in carbon credit transactions in both the regulated (Kyoto) and voluntary carbon markets.
